Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Enfield finding history

On trying to find the history of a Lee Enfield, I started with the post in C&R forum Another lee enfield question: http://www.dirtydozensbunker.com/sho...1827#post31827 please read This what I have so far by the answers from the previous post. It is a Savage, made after the U.S. entered the war It was released for sale by the following marks ,info found at: http://www.geocities.com/lee_enfield_rifles/ Import Markings BNP Birmingham Nitro Proof - Required by British law, any firearm offered for commercial sale (regardless of military proofing) has to undergo a pressure test. Passed firearms were stamped, usually on the barrel and receiver. These letters will have a crown stamped directly above them. And ENGLAND Another importing stamp, whereby the country of origin was stamp on the firearm prior to importing. Usually found either on the buttsocket or receiver ring. .303 2.222" 18.5 TONS PER []" Part of the commercial proofing, it denotes pressure tested to, caliber of barrel and length of chamber. I am making some progress, why am I trying to do this, the rifle is in near perfect condition. It may not turn ot to be very valueable, but I feel that it may have an interesting history.
