If he was charged by local authorities the feds will play the supremacy clause card and the case will die a slow death.

It now looks like this FBI agent had an advanced copy of the IG "report" and was just celebrating their still above the law status on this occasion and decided to treat himself to a shot civilian to properly demonstrate this fact.
