Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

My Citidel 1911 with 3.5" Barrel is nice in the cooler months. A Keltec 9mm for summer carry. I prefer a exposed hammer for decocking.

25+ years ago I shot a brand new Glock 17.
It was about 100 feet to the target.
About a 12"x12" white thing with black spot.
I was within 3" of the spot.
The guy that owned it held a great group around the same spot.
That's my total experience with Glocks.

When I got my CC license back in 04, my instructor insisted I use his Glock 17 instead of my Ruger KP345. His 9mm was easy to score with.

Most people will fuck up the first shot with a double action semi auto, like a Sig. Various special forces units have tried to train around that problem and it still remains a problem even with guys shooting 5000 to 10000 rounds per month. The Glock does not have that issue.

A Glock will run at least 20,000 rounds without touching it, and often more than 50,000 rounds. A 1911 usually needs either a heavy tune up or a rebuild after 10,000 rounds. Some special forces guys were using the 1911 but were having to get their gun rebuilt by a proper custom gunsmith once a month.

The HK45 was designed to take Glock reliability to the next level, and it did so. But some people do not like the replaceable rubber o-rings.

Personally I carry a 1911 (government or commander) or a S&W J frame. I do not even own a Glock. But I grew up with 1911s and S&W revolvers. I guess I would drive a Model A Ford if that is what I grew up with.

Many people find the Beretta 92 large, unweildy and clunky. The open top strap also allows dirt to enter. I would rather have a Glock, Sig, 1911, Ruger M&P, HK45, HK VP9, HK P30, S&W Model 39, etc. instead of a Beretta 92.

Remember...the Beretta 92 passed a rather rigorous series of field tests to become an issue pistol for America's warriors. Those other pistols did NOT pass that test. None of the grunts or tread heads I have talked with from the sandbox... have anything bad to say about the pistol.
