Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Pergola Progress.

We're getting there, I have to stay on top of the guy, he's not very detail oriented and twice I've made him take stuff apart and do it right. Pain in the ass, but it's going to look good....maybe. A couple of pictures, lots to go yet.

Not done. Had to remove the swing that was back there and the marble stones, so I need to much that area now after these guys are done. I still have some 12 bags left over that I was using in the front, I guess I'll have to go and buy more for one small section in the front of the house. A man's work is never done.

Like Bill my neighbor says...(Italian accent on) "gotta make mamma happy, when mamma is happy everybody is happy".

Now she's talking about getting rid of those concrete tables and getting new patio furniture, also a small waterfall fountain where the swing used to be so she can hear water drip, plus three ceiling fans with lights....in 33 years we have lived here she has never sat out there more than 10 minutes....oh well...it's only money and I can't take it with me but a couple weeks vacation in Hawaii would have been cheaper.

I want to put up a couple of those - front and back. I wouldn't have to worry about snow load on them, and with grapes growing on them in the summer, they will give nice shade and something to snack on while I sit outside.

Not having air conditioning in the house, it is often cooler outside than inside.

They are done, but I still need to do some stuff he doesn't do, like installing ceiling fans and lights, running an electrical box to a couple of the posts and getting new patio furniture. I'll tell you what, it's about 20º cooler under it.
