Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

100% correct my friend. If everyone would always agree with each other a solemn silence would fall upon earth.

I heard that when I was a kid, never forgot it.

Default shoshowing mercy, grace and compassion

Saying you'll pray and actually doing it are two totally different things.

Correct...and I know that I have been guilty of the former without
acting any further for a large part of my life.

Today, it is...I am... different. I have learned to both pray and to
converse with my God.

I have learned the hard way that prayer is not a time to make
demands or to ask for fame and fortune; prayer is when I go to the
Lord looking for His guidance and wisdom to help me find the
solutions to my problems; time to seek His grace, mercy and
compassion on behalf of less fortunate folk...those in poor health,
those suffering bereavement, etc. It is also a time to give thanks
for all that He does and has done for us. In this way, I have
experienced the power of prayer in positive ways.

Two years ago my wife fractured her neck, back and skull. The neck break should have killed or paralyzed her. It didn't. Someone was watching out for her. And it wasn't her husband who was in the house hanging out with the BIL.

Sometimes little things are bestowed from above. Just today:

1. The "broken" oil heater in our cabin suddenly sprung back to life. My wife helped it out a bit with some Utube repair videos and a couple strategically-placed hammer blows.

2. A possible "dream job" just presented itself.

3. A drum set I've had listed on Ebay for weeks finally sold.

I wasn't expecting any of this. I just happened as my wife and I are in the process of downsizing and going into retirement or possibly semi-retirement. In the meantime, I'm busting ass in my full time job. Taking it one day at a time.

I ask these people to pray for those on here who ask for it.

I think many here would like their classic car channel.

The job I have now is because of a mysterious pop-up window on my PC.

I was giving a reference online(the only way this facility will accept them) for a friend. At the end of the interview, the pop-up window appeared.

I had just updated my resume the day before. I was currently an appliance technician for Sears and rumors were swirling that there was going to be major shut downs. I told my wife the day before, i think it's time to start looking. The next day, I get a pop-up window.

Uploaded my resume and they called me the next day.

Landed the job at considerably more on the hour, 4 ten hour shifts, better insurance, and 5 weeks paid vacation once I cleared probation.

The wife asked, "Are you sure you should take the first offer?"

Without hesitation, I said yes.

Lay-offs came at Sears one month later and I was the newest hire.

I had a phone interview today. Zero preparation. It couldn't have gone better. Somebody else was answering the interview questions. It wasn't me.
