.22lr questions
alright, i used to just pickup the cheapest .22 rounds i could, but ive gotten interested in the quiet stuff and what guns i can use them in. i was wondering what were some good brands and which were the quietest. also itd be nice to know which ones will cycle semi-autos (10/22 and P22) and which ones wouldnt. also ive seen one kind that is quieter than a pellet gun but the rounds werent quite as long as regular .22lr but werent .22short. that kind was made by CB i think. at the time i couldnt get it to feed corrently from my 10/22 mag so i stayed away from it. i was wondering if they arent quite as long as a normal .22lr if that could cause some problems. any info would be great!
edit: the ones that were slightly shorter than regular my cousin was using in an old .22lr bolt action. |

Check out the Colibri , and the Super Colibri at:
http://www.aguilaammo.com/ Sounds like that's what you're looking for. Except none of the quiet ones will work the action on a semi, just not enough recoil impulse. That got traded for quiet. Probably have to order them on line. Regards, |

Supposed to be pretty good ammo, but I've never used any.
Hopefully someone has and will respond. Regards, |
