Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Beautiful! .357 mag is just about one of the best rounds for a lever action rifle, too. Shoots like a laser beam to at least 200 yards with little recoil. Only reason I don't have one yet, is I haven't found one like my brother-in-law's Marlin. But the more I look, the more I am inclined to believe his was a custom order, as it has a 24" bbl instead of the 20" that most of them have.

You never know what you are going to find when out "shopping". It was Thanksgiving before last, the day after, my nephew wound up with a Browning falling block 45-70. He'd been looking for a lever action Marlin, but that falling block was just too much for me to pass on. It was a pawn shop purchase, and the rifle was in like new condition like so many of those boomers are. Folks buy them, shoot them once or twice and don't like the recoil, then put them away and forget about them until they go to sell them.

I will have to eat a few boogers...to make me smarter...when I Iook around for my next purchase.

I have everything I need....except....a shot out M1 Garand...to re barrel...and equip with a NOS, vintage, Lyman M84 scope, mount etc...that I have had in a box for the last 25 years..thus creating an M1D rifle.

Years ago i must have built a dozen of them... I do like M1Garands.

Knowing me....it will probably end up a safe queen... I have shot my Winchester yellow boy. It is a fun easy shooting rifle in 38 special. Kinda like a big .22 LR.

Them lever guns have sucked me in.

That's a beautiful rifle. I've got a .44 magnum lever gun already. A .357 would be a great addition. Having a rifle and sidearm in the same caliber is a good thing. I've been eyeballing the Henry "Long Ranger" in .223/5.56 too. From what I've seen, it's very accurate. Good looking too! I don't have scopes on any of my lever guns, but I'd put a scope on that one.

One of my buddies just purchased one like it off gun broker in .45 LC. He has several SAA's in that caliber. His zombie plague bonus just got spent. Same as mine did.

Stopped at a local gunshop after breakfast, out.... to BS with the owner...he sells everything he has. I sold him 25 more AK receivers for his showcase. All I had with me....he sold them all to a gent who watched them going into the showcase. I will take over fifty more on Monday.

Business......is brisk.

Nobody has mentioned it yet so I will:

You'll shoot your eye out kid!
____________
Did that ....when i was about seven years old.... almost.....lost an eye. Dad wrapped my red Ryder around a telephone pole...and about wore his belt out on my ass. That was the end of my BB gun days......until I was 14 or 15 years old. I got one of those pump daisy bb guns. We used to have wars....with bb guns in the woods where Hyre Jr. High school, Walmart, etc. Are now...I dug bbs out of my skin more than once. Teaching moments?

Adults kept telling us that bb guns were illegal and the police would arrest you....if.....you had one.

I learned early on that most adults were retards who lied.

I always found it funny & ironic my parents let me have an operational Jap Arisaka rifle when I was a kid to tote around and play war games with...but would never let me have a bb gun.

Ah hah see and yah laughed at me when I grabbed that French 1760s Chevelle flintlock in excellent condition 'used in the American Revolution' for like $5,000 smackers. Ah hah.
