Proper egg cracking..
Learned this on a food show.
Crack raw eggs on a flat surface, not the sides of the pan. Cracking on a sharp edge, forces shells into the egg. If you still refuse too listen and get shells in your egg. Use the shell itself too remove the broken shell, you refused too listen and got in your egg. For some unknown reason, science, broken shell will be magnetically drawn too the other shell your using too get the broken shell, cause you refused too listen. Frying eggs- Crack eggs as explained, if you want too listen? At the same time in a bowl. Then pour at the same time, into your frying pan. Keeps one egg from being well done and the other half baked. Great cooking tips on the show. More info too follow when I watch the show tonight. Bon Appetite.

Did you know that eggs, when cracked and dropped in a bowl will not mix with one another unless beaten up?...
Did you know that eggs on average have 14% less Cholesterol than they used to have in 2002...and more Vitamin D? But I bet you don't now what came first, the chicken or the egg?

Egg whites are the thing to put on burns. It's all about the collagen in the whites .
Hard boiled eggs in the shell will wobble when spun on a flat surface, while a raw egg still in the shel will spin. |

A good home grown brown egg, not those week shelled mass produced corporate farm eggs can be cracked anywhere. The shells don't shatter like the store eggs, the yolks are darker and they taste better.
