Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Grouse!!! Yum yum.

Years ago, in Michigan, I would go hunting with my buddies and grouse were on the list. We would bag a few of these tasty treats and fry them up battered in corn meal. Oh so tasty. Anyone else ever dine on these fine feathered friends?

I want to take my boys grouse hunting but I do not have a dog and the populations are in serious decline in my state.

Way back, I hunted them in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan. At that time, they were abundant. Not sure what its like now. Bigger than a quail, smaller than a pheasant. They didn't fly, but they fluttered. Like a chicken.

I've seen them in Northern New Mexico / Southern Colorado, but have never had the opportunity to hunt or eat them.

Grouse, quail, prairie chicken...and that huge thing that was imported from Hungry all those years ago, forget the name...delicious. Hungarian Partridge I think it was.

We hunted them a lot when I was growing up in SW Ohio. Quail & woodcock too.

Yep, batter em up & fry or make a game bird stew in the family Crockpot. Tasty.

State bird here in pennsyltucky, Iíve never really hunted for them, and actually donít see many here even in denser northern big acreage woods upstate. I think upstate you could hunt all day and maybe come out with a couple tops, down here in southern part of state they are pretty rare, Iíve only seen a handful while out archery hunting.

Had one once. Wasn't even cold before going into the frying pan with butter.

It was amazing.

I love me some pheasant too.

I've hunted for grouse, quail, and pheasant. All are good tasting. In my opinion, quail is the best tasting of the bunch.

I've also eaten dove. Good red meat.

I love quail. Have to drive a few hours to get to where I can hunt them. Had some bobwhites and scalies around the area, but I reckon feral cats must have wiped them out because I haven't seen one for several years, now.

I have a friend who is a quail-hunting fanatic. You know how some guys spend a fortune on fancy shotguns for trap and skeet? Well, he buys those same kinds of guns just for quail.

I love to shoot dove, but don't like to eat them. Since nobody else I know likes to eat dove, either, I don't go dove hunting anymore.

Somebody needs to shoot these ghetto pigeons in their native environment, and leave the grouse alone
