Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Thumbs up The US Rifle, 7.62mm M14 Rifle, Transcends Time

The M14 Rifle has a long history in the US military that continues to this day. It is an American select fire, gas operated rifle that fires 7.62×51mm NATO (Win .308 ) ammunition. Replacing the M1 Garand in 1957 as the issue, main battle rifle, for the U.S. military. This service weapon is still used as a ceremonial weapon and sniper/designated marksman as well. Hunters have also enjoyed this weapon for hunting and target shooting. The US M14 Service Rifle is one military rifle that transcends through time. This tough 7.62x51mm calibers, detachable magazine feeding gives this rifle a powerful punch. When the shorter-range M4 Carbines can’t reach the enemy, the M14 certainly will. Many...

I love my Chinese copy, that has been modified with American parts, including a TRW bolt.

Reminds me that I need to finish pulling down the rest of that can of Spanish 7.62x51 and replace the powder with some good stuff.

I used a piece of wooden stick match to hold back the catch at the rifle range once, when I wore green.

I have one of those, too. I took it off when I kept getting jams. First I thought the guy who did my bolt conversion boogered things up. Then I thought maybe it was that dummy switch with its link, as it was kind of cockeyed in the stock.

Turned out it was the bolt for my scope mount. It was protruding about 1/10" into the receiver - just enough for the bolt to hang up. Plus, that bad ammo I had didn't help a bit.

Everything is Copacetic now, though.

An M14 is on my short list to acquire. I have shot the clones but never owned one.
