Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Why Eating Insects Is an American Tradition

https://www.atlasobscura.com/article...g-bugs-america

Quote:
Both Native Americans and colonists enjoyed fried cicadas, grasshopper flour, and insect fruitcakes.
Quote:
In just over five years, the apostles of insect eating have moved entomophagy in the Unites States and Europe from a Fear Factor sideshow to a regular fixture in food industry trend lists. These entopreneurs, dozens of newly minted bug farmers and cricket-laced protein bar hawkers, built their culinary foothold through compelling arguments about nutrition and sustainability. Crickets, for example, provide leaner protein than animal meats, require minimal feed and water to rear, and produce far fewer greenhouse gas emissions per pound. These claims may be overblown, but they’re effective.
Quite an article, if you decide to try one of the recipes let me know
how well it turns out and if it is a good as they say it is.

If I ever live long enough to give a shit about 'greenhouse gases', be sure one of you put a lead pellet behind my left ear.
I've eaten krap like that before so's I wouldn't have to eat it now.
Jeez, french fried rhinoceros dung beetle sound just like what I'm looking for.

If you are really hungry you'll eat anything. The only thing I tried once was monkey meat, frog legs and alligator tails are not bad, just had some the other day at the indian outpost west of Miami.

Never really cared for alligator tail, but I like frog legs, they have a delicate delicious flavor.
