The United States Air Force could recall as many as 1,000 retired military pilots to active-duty service to address an acute shortage in its ranks.

This is a good idea, provided they get the best and most able. So many quit during the obanga years.

Too many AF Acadamy cadets go for the free college education and flight training which are together worth about a million dollars and leave the AF after 5 years of active service.

I think the obligation should be at least 10 years. If they don't want to obligate themselves for 10 years let someone else fill the slot.

I read in the news elsewhere where the Army is having difficulty getting enough recruits. So they are lowering the standards and accepting recruits that have been previously rejected for smoking pot.

I watched a YouTube video on landing and taking off from and F-18 cockpit view and I am pretty sure I can fly one of those birds?
Should I just wait at home for them to call or go too the A.F. recruiting office?
