Is advertising P-85 Rugers for around 185,$ each.
Wonder how many you'd have to buy to get enough parts for a good one?

I sold mine for $300.

Never messed with the P-85's. I bought a P-89 for my Dad when they came out. He never had any problems with it. The only problem I had was when I took too high of a grip once. Got a nice chunk of skin taken off because of it.

The old P-85s had a de-cocker issue if I remember correctly. Damn thing would go off when de-cocked using the lever.
I owned and carried a P89 (old clunky chuncky) for many years on the job. Never had any issues with it. Good, solid gun, and ate anything that would fit in the chamber.
Finally retired it and sold it, when I started using my XD40 as my carry weapon.
