Can't afford the high price for a real Dragunov. Well, didn't really wanna go that route. I've spent about $7300 on guns this year and just slowed down.
Mine is PSL called a Dragunov and I am OK with it. But why light ball ammo? Just curious.

I built my PSL off a $199 kit plus receiver. Not a 100% Romanian, but that's okay. I have a lot of light ball for it. Not sure why everyone says to go with light ball. I haven't shot mine enough to gauge a difference.

How's Czech silvertip shoo through a PSL? Years ago it was desirable but I can't remember why. It's 147g bullet I think.

PSL/FPK is more like a large caliber RPK, stamped steel receiver, bulged trunnion... and I want one.

Get one and fall in love.
YES.....I spent a lot of money this year and I'm NOT rich. I retired and had a savings. I sold my house. Single. Live with daughter. Am old and buying heirlooms for my two kids. Of course, I get to enjoy them first. Can't take it with ya!!! Was saving for class III Tommy gun but probably won't last till it's cleared. So...just spent on a vepr 12ga and 25 round drum. Happy Happy....no guilt spending. Last edited by TheMrMitch; 12-24-2016 at 01:58 AM. Reason: ADD MSG |
