Need email not working help
My Thunderbird email is not working
I kept getting "connection to pop server failed or timed out" or "Sending of password for user GSP7 did not succeed. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later." Now I also get "Enter your password for GSP7 on pop.verizon.net:" I have no clue what the password is for sure. I try my standard pass word and my email still doesnt "connect to the pop server" I thought it was just my internet provider , but my email still doesnt work today Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it

I used Thunderbird for a long time. Kept having problems with it so I dumped it. I went with Gmail and now use the same email address on my Desktop, Laptop, tablet, and phone.
You might consider going that way.

Maybe their server is down. I had a problem with my email server yesterday, but I told my staff to send me the contracts at an alternate gmail address I have. It happens once in a while.

Apparently it is hidden so you click ALT to show it or right click in a blank space and click add menu bar for perminant menu bar Then I was able to navagate to what my password was and it was different than what I was using , Now my email works , but I might have to type in the password everytime that I never had to do before. Might have to figure out how to fix that I remember a couple years ago I had to change the pop server port number for some reason to get the email to work My email has been acting up previously, not connecting pop ups but later it would start working..... I read it was just my internet server ....piece of crap ! |

How do I make a alternate Gmail account?
Is Gmail stand for GoogleMail ? Aviator, Do you just go to you default email setting and switch to the Gmail account that you created with the same email address if you have problems? I wasted 2 hours of my life this morning with computer email fixing problems , I hate computers |

Just tell everyone you know about your new email address. And change your email address with every place you have registered including our forum. It will take time at first but it will be time well spent. |

I don't use email clients. I just use Gmail or live or whatever email directly from the web. It's easier that way and doesn't slime up your computer as much. For my phone, blackberry hub is awesome.
