Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I'll have to take a pic of the one that lives here locally.
He owns and operates a "Militaria" store on main street.
Even has a WW1 Bycycle Corps bike that is restored.

Kewl. I'm curious so I have to ask. Why did you mark it as a vehicle in a Headquarters company of an engineer battalion?

When did they change the Bridge Weight Classification marker from yellow to OD? I never paid any attention. I just remembered years ago it was yellow. Almost a "shoot me" target. The color change might have been at the same time they went from white markings to black.

My Dad was a Combat Engineer with the 4th ID toward the end of WWII in Europe.

Don't know for sure. As you say. Probobaly around the time they went from white markings to black. Those yellow bridge wt plates are HIGH dollar collectors items now.

I have to change mine from "20" to "02" my mistake...it isn't a tank... or a piece of heavy armor.

Do you have the trailer with round fenders or with flat fenders? It's been so long ago, I don't remember the model numbers of each.

I used to have a trailer with the round fenders but I got rid of it. I used it with my Toyota Land Cruiser. I installed a pintle hitch from a M38A1 on the Land Cruiser.

I know the flat fenders came along about the time they implemented the M151 or therabouts.

I have a "round fender" M-100 1/4 ton Jeep trailer for my M38 and a "flat fendered" M-416 1/4 ton trailer for my M151A1. The 416 has not yet been restored or received the going over...yet.

I remember many years ago at Ft Sill, Oklahoma having a battery party on the 4th of July. It was hotter than heck. We took one of those round fender 1/4 ton trailers and closed the drain plugs on it and filled it with beer and ice. We emptied the beer in that trailer twice. When we ran out of beer, we all pooled our money and someone went to town and bought more.

That was back when cigarettes were 18 cents a pack at the PX.... "smoke em if you got em".
Those were the good old days...
