If you want to get serious in wood carving the best option is to buy a set of knives made for that purpose.
I have a set of swiss made Pfeil wood carving tools that I accumulated over the years. I checked, and Amazon has a good looking set. I can't say what the quality is but they look good and are a lot less expensive than a set of Pfeil chisels. https://www.amazon.com/SCHAAF-Full-S...+carving+tools Woodcraft.com has a good selection of high quality tools. https://www.woodcraft.com/blog_entri...s-for-carving# You might want to go to the library and get a book on wood carving and then decide what kind of carving you want to do.
