Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

That's a pretty slick setup, but where can I get one of those rear peep (or was it ghost ring?) sights he had on his rifle at 0:51?

That's an interesting sight. It isn't the same as they have in the video. The longer sight radius has got to improve accuracy, though.

What makes it interesting, is that it appears they make the guide rod and recoil spring a part of the sight.

And it holds zero well? I ask, because of the action being attached to the sight.

Only the spring is attached to the sight that is wedged into the rear trunnion and set screwed.

My brother is very satisfied with the sight on his AKM.

Reminds me of the low pro kvar mount, just not as beefy looking. I dont understand how the locking mechanism is better. It only looks to have a handle that swings down to unlock, still looks to use the locking srung bolt with locking block like all the rest. This one just has no way to protect it from catchin you clothes when u carry it, and it swings down front to back. One nice swipe across the chest while carrying it and good bye scope. The mil spec ones the lever pushes into the mount to prevent this then snaps (locks) in. Think about it, you pull up to shoot the knob grabs your jeans or shirt and now your scope is gone or lose.

The MWI mount has a lock on the throw lever that prevents the lever from un-locking and the scope and mount falling off by accident.

Ahhh, I see, now that is a horse of a different color. I might need one now, the lock seems like it would do the trick.
