But anyone make a knife from an old file? Dad told me about it. Just haven't done it.

I responded on the other thread. I'll have to delete that.
Heat the file to red hot, let it cool slowly. That removes the hard file temper so that the metal can be worked with normal sanding and file work. Any further info can be found on several YouTube tutorials. |
