Zip Lock packaging & us old farts!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't open products without messing it up & raising my blood pressure. This morning the culprit was a 40 0z package of bacon (must be the niqqer pack being 40 oz).

First I look for the perforation to tear it open, then I get the scissors. It all went down hill from there!

I was so pissed off I actually sat down & wrote the company just to cool out! I figure they will coupon me another 40 oz bacon & hope I die eating it.

My pet peeve is those canned biscuits that say "press with spoon to open".
I have to smack it with a hammer or beat the hell out of it on the edge of the kitchen counter.

Worse than both those thing guys. Opening those plastic bags in the veggie dept. You have to wait till a woman with nails comes by to get the damn thing open. You could spend a half hour on the damn things. .

I got that beat. All the years I cut meat & waited on people both meat & seafood i had to use the same bags. I learned if you licked you thumb & rubbed the bag between your thumb & index finger it worked great. No thumb licking allowed on my side of the counter.

I touch the wet veggies to get my fingers moist and then open the plastic baggies that way I'm not licking my shopping cart contaminated fingers.

Potato chip bags always rip down the side. I just get the damn scissors and cut off the top.

I always have a sharp pocket knife...very useful in opening plastic bags in the kitchen.

One of the main reasons why some foods and other things are so expensive is the bomb proof packaging. Thievery is the main reason with non food items.
