AR Shooter; mags??
Gentlemen, I have a choice of 60rd drum P-Mag or 60rd Surefire mags that look like a 30rd mag on 'roids. Both are the same price, from Brownell's.
Any experiences or ideas? Thanks. cerberus |

I have both the the Surefire & Magpul. The Magpul D-60 work great on full auto. The Surefire a buddy gave it to me. I think he might of taken it apart to see how it works, because does not. I have tried it once & never looked into making it work. I actually have 5 of the Magpul drums. Just look over at my avatar.

Karl and Ian da gun fagz have an episode where they discuss at length your question. It’s WWSD Mags. They endorse P-mags drum and do not recommend any 60 round stick mags.
They’re $6 in two notes but (no pun intended) their What Would Stoner Do? 2017 project has merit.

I have a couple of the Korean 50 round drums, similar to the P-mags. They were $50 when I got them. Haven't tried them yet.
Gunmagwarehouse has a better price on the P-mags then Brownells.

Probably should stick with the 30s. I only really wanted a couple because, you know, we shouldn't. I've got some Korean steel ones. I don't know what they were made for, but I have a feeling they would survive being driven over.
Always thought that was a BETA-C mag, Boon. |

If there not issued to our Military, they may be range toy's. For the same money, I would buy 12 OKAY or D&H mil spec magazine's.
