Took a bike ride this morning through the Ft McDowell indian rez......and into the Tonto national forrest where i did a little shooting.....brought 100 rounds of my reloads with me and function tested the nickel 4 3/4" italian saa pistol.......it shot well......all i had was my phone which i have dropped so many time it has brain damage so please forgive the messed up photos. The pistol recoiled harder than i expected......but i guess with that big 255 grain slug it is to be expected even though i loaded it to only about 800 fps with Unique powder. I saw wild horsed behind some trees and off in the distance in the river......cool day so i wore a sweat shirt and a hoodie.........had fun and my legs are toast from all the hills. |

Great photos, and I found the horses, finally.
Never figured you for a sucker either. "Casinos are monuments to Losers." Something I heard quoted MANY times while living in Nevada. |

buz that is super beautiful country out their.
You have the Tonto Nat. forest just above yah the map shows. Lots and lots of history from that A.O.. Those sites have most likely been gone over but it would still be fun to take a metal detector and check them out. Here we have remnants from the Timucuan Indians of N. Florida. https://www.manataka.org/page1232.html Silver Glenn up river a bit here their are loads of broken pottery from the tribe. Shell mounds, etc. The Timucua took their empty shells, mussels, clams, etc. and piled them high in mounds still their today. Why I have no idea? ADD: Super nice holster their cowboy. |

We just had 4 inches of snow in the last hour and a half. Those sunny skies look nice.
