Crab legs
On the way home from church I stopped at the market to pick up some milk and orange juice.
I saw they had crab legs on sale so I picked up a couple of bunches. Guess what I'm going to have for lunch? Baked potato, salad, and crab legs.

Blue crabs here in the Saint Johns river were loaded with them. Got tired of the scum buckets robbing my traps finally gave up.
Used to put about 4 dozen in a cage off the dock and fattern em up. Damn their good eatin.

When I was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland I ate a lot of blue crabs. The restaurant had big wooden tables. They gave you a mallet and you could crack the shell open and eat the meat. The crabs were covered with pepper. You had to have a pitcher of beer to drink when you ate. That was back in the fun times.

Make sure they were killed in a humane way and not boiled alive or PETA will get on your case.

What to do. Some guys God knows who? put out traps with double edged razor blades ever few feet down the anchor rope. Scum thieves pulled them in and went to the frigging E.R. with sliced hands. Probably some Nam Vet who knew how to booby trap em?? |

Sounds like a cousin of the guy that put 0-size muskrat traps in the center console of my Wrangler. Caught three so far. Quote:
