Websites and website hosting
If you wanted to make your own website for your business, just a simple website.
What are some good options. Ive heard of Go-Daddy.... From what I understand you have to pay a yearly domain name fee. How much is that $$$ ? I heard maybe $50 a year Also what is website hosting and do you even need website hosting? Looks like website hosting has a monthly fee... Like this: http://www.webhostinghub.com/home-d

I use Omnis hosting for my company website, GoDaddy is good too 1on1 is cheap too.
I pay 7-8 dollars for the name every year and about $80 for the hosting server. Here at the forum the server is more because of the bandwidth requirements. they have many different plans and you shop for what you need.

You need both a name server and a web host. Some companies do both.
This forum uses NameSecure.com for the name server and URLJet.com for web hosting. We used a couple of other web hosting services before we settled on URLJet. Some are downright unreliable and are down too often.
