Had a novel conversation with an ex trooper today. He mentioned 00 only having 9 pellets. I mentioned that's a 2 3/4 reduced charge load. I know I had him with the H132 reference that wasn't widely promoted when they were introduced. Awesome fella. Good talk though. He's "at least" as disgusted as me. Pleased to know him. The threat to oneself and valued family? However you accomplish that goal. Masad Ayoob? Good reading if you want my mindset: Stressfire II: Advanced Combat Shotgun: Massad F. Ayoob: 9780936279114: Amazon.com: Books Slightly dated, he's a huge proponent of #1 Buck in 12 gauge. Hard to find. We all like what we like. If all I had was a box of #8, I'd make it work. It's a very good book. Photos, considerations, and factual data. Minus the latest innovations in semis and brands available. It's still a fantastic book. Had to "dirty" the shopping link, it took advertising to a youtube level. T's for the X's and it should show a few for sale. If you're a book person it belongs on the shelf the cops will document if you ever have to shoot an intruder. Last I witnessed they spent almost 8 actual hours grubbing through someone's entire (alleged self-defended) world. Well respected author and it would be used by the prosecution. Your council could do as well with the same book, probably better. |
