"Beer and Blessings"
I'm not a "church guy" and rarely go unless it's a wedding or funeral. That said...
A local Roman Catholic priest worked a deal with some local bars to moderate religious question and answer sessions at their establishments. It turned about to a big hit. The priest is a dynamic speaker, very funny and upbeat. Everyone was laughing and engaged... oh... and everyone was drinking too, even the priest! The one time I went, the place was packed. Bringing religion to the "sinners" is a brilliant idea. |

I wanted to try "Beer Church" at the renfest to increase Sunday sales. I was told it was blasphemy. I actually had a guy lined up to do the preaching, boss man didn't think it was that good of an idea.

Monks make some of the best beer and wine.

That is totally insane, but that is what Lucifer wants.
It seems that what Lucifer wants wants now days, he gets as he has fooled way too many people into believing that. |

The priest is a young, dynamic guy with big ideas and tons of energy. Whether his plan works or not, I don't fault him. At least he's tying. He did manage to get my sorry ass into one of his sessions.
