Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default coyote chokes

anybody use a shotgun for coyotes?
saw an indian creek choke in action this weekend at a card shoot... wow thats a piece of engineering, blowing the red dot, homemade chokes away and pissing off the natives.

thinking of using something along that line to bust dogs,
i'll have to try different sizes out of course to see what works best with #4's and BB's maybe even 00 buck

looking for info so i don't repeat mistakes already made or tested

Hmmm, ... Well FWIW,

Try 00 or 000 buck full choke and keep your range down to less than 40 yards, 30 is more certain.

You'll have to call 'em to get 'em that close, and when they come in it will be FAST!

As always JMHO other opinions may well differ.

Regards,
...

Yes - because it was handy.

But generally? I'll use whatever I have at hand. Pistol, rifle, shotgun, pickup truck, etc..

That was a technique used years ago.
Compressed sponges, flavored, of course.
Small bite size that REALLY swelled up!

Well, I've never used a shotgun, just never had one available at the time. But if I did, I'd break open the coach gun and reload with 00 buck and it has cylinder bore chokes in both barrels. It's what I hunt dove with these days, always carry 4 00 buck and 2 slugs as well as my home loaded 8 shot.
