New Mexico: Hunting season begins Sept. 1
Soon...those Eurasian doves flying around the house die. And it will be all nice and legal like.

I have yet to figure out a reason to hunt the Gambril Quail that invade my property.
Every morning they invade my lawn and clean up what ever they eat. About the time I grab a camera they sense something and run off. |

1 Eurasion dove down. 3 more to go.
1 shot at 50 yards with the Gamo Hunter air rifle. No breeze. Hit it in the neck. |
