Cougar Attacks And Kills A Man In North Bend, WA; Still On The Loose
Just saw this news flash, I'll go and find the details...that's not that far from where I live...very unusual for the big cats to bother people, and there is plenty of food out there for them.

Still can't find a printed report; it is, however, reported that it was someone on a bicycle...and it occurs to me that the big cat may have taken it for an elk or something that moves fast...but not too fast!

My elementary school buddy Scot, was number 16 to be killed in North America. He was jogging above clear creek hs jan 14 1991, when he was attacked and killed by an old cat with cataracts. Fish & game thought it had mistaken him for a deer, the cat didn’t eat him after it realized he wasn’t deer. But, it had already killed him. He was 18.
