With a 15 round magazine, it would
be a Bad toy... |

Because they are semi-auto, the recoil won't be as harsh; and because .410 is so dang expensive compared to 12 and 20 gauge shells, if I were looking at that kind of shotgun, I'd be inclined to look for a 20 gauge.

Have you seen the one that is a "Firearm" like a shockwave? Really wonder about a binary trigger in it too.

No offense Twin50, but what advantage would the .410 have over 5.56? You could get a 5.56 pistol with "Brace" so that it is short and compact, yet there is 30 rounds of ammo in your mag.

I have that covered. Main reason for me is I stacked it deep even if I didn't have the particular weapon knowing I could obtain the weapon when I could.

As of right now I only have a single shot .410...but with rounds I have in .410 I would need something a tad faster...since I have a hodge podge of rounds I think it will be better to have a pump to help eliminate feed issues.

Some of those "exotic" shotguns can be very picky. I had a Franchi SPAS 12 in the 90's (pre-Bush ban model). While it looked bad-ass as hell, it was about worthless to shoot because it was so picky. It would even jam in pump mode if you didn't feed it its preferred ammo.
I happened to have its preferred ammo in slug form one time when I was out in the desert and some gang-bangers came out to the shooting spot with a sawed-off double barrel. I'd been shooting my single shot .22 with my daughter until they showed up. After they set up their targets and shot at them a couple times with their double-barrel, I pulled the SPAS-12 from behind the seat of my truck and emptied the mag into their targets with carefully aimed fire, creating a huge dust cloud as well. I heard a loud "DAY-AMMM! HE GOT A FUGGIN MACHINE GUN!" come from them and they piled into their car and left... So, the exotics have their place. That was the most fun I had with that gun. It was even more fun when I traded it off for a brand new Springfield Loaded 1911A1. |

I've had a Saiga .410 for many years. It is a fun little gun to shoot,
but other than killing the occasional cottonmouth with it, it really has no real purpose in my collection. I've looked at the .410 uppers for the AR, and decided that I just couldn't justify buying it when I'd never really use it.
