RIA 1911-A1
I already have two Springfield Armory 1911-A1's (1 is a 'GI' model, the other is a 'Loaded' model), so I don't really need another 1911 but.....
I got a text with pics the other day that I dismissed/didn't answer right away because I was busy. Later that evening, I remembered and went back to read the text and check out the pics. I sent him a text and asked him "How much?" He replied "$200". I asked if it was 'hot' and he said 'No'. I've known him for several years and he used to date my daughter. I also bought a bunch of ammo from him a couple years ago. The pics he sent me look like this RIA, but with a 'Commander's Hammer' & different lettering along the side of the slide. https://armscor.com/firearms/ria/gi-...i-standard-fs/ My wife said, "Why do you need another pistol?" My reply: "One cannot have too many pistols!" ETA: My son has a Citadel 1911-A1 (also made by ARMSCOR), and has never had an issue with it. |

I'll take it if you don't want it.
Your wife sounds like my daughter, "Dad, why do you have so many guns?" You can never have too many.

Hunter I love mine. Damn it is accurate tight and a hundred rounds through so far with not a hiccup.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKkloQcBp2M&t=262s Trigger running around 4.9 lbs. which is darn good for an inexpensive gun. Tiny bit of crunch on the trigger which with some polish should be fine. Mine .45 acp and I would buy another in a heartbeat. ADD: I don't care who it is always ask for I.D. and have them sign a receipt. Stolen? Oh well officer here is who sold it to me.

FINALLY! After 7 weeks of messaging back and forth, I picked up the RIA 1911-A1 this morning.
The guy must be out of $$$. Last week, my son bought a 4x4 ATV from him for half of what he was asking and after I basically gave up on ever getting this 1911, last night he text me. I had to drive an hour this morning to meet him, instead of meeting halfway in between. He said he didn't have enough gas to meet halfway. |

I told my wife, "It's like golf honey. You don't see those guys using just one club. Each one does a specific thing well. That's why they need so many!" She says, "But I don't see them carrying more than one golf bag at a time, so they can carry all those identical copies of the same clubs around with them." I tried the "two is one and one is none" thing, but she's not buying it.

I have tried....but just cannot seem to understand the concept of having only one pistol.....or rifle. Perhaps it is the way my head is wired. Having to many 1911's is also a thought pattern that I find very difficult to grasp.
It seems like CUNT strategies.....

Is it maximum gun saturation if you forget you even own certain guns? Just asking for a friend.

How many 1911A1's is one allowed to own? I probably have to play catch up.
