Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Installed a reduced pull trigger set in my Colt 1911.

My Colt New Agent was running a trigger pull of around 6.5 lbs. Installed the Cylinder and Slide Co. kit and now it is running at 4.2 lbs. Pretty much as they advertise.
My bro and me were total rookies at the install so it took us a bit to get our act together. Also we had to file the safety plate on the bottom install pin to get it to fit.
Not much filing just a tad but they did say we may have to do that. Pretty dang smooth now. Anyone ever try these kits before?

I've looked at them, online, but never pulled the trigger on the purchase.

I'm not sure what my 1911 trigger pull is right now, but after I slicked everything up by polishing all metal-to-metal contact surfaces, then adding a thin coat of Tetra grease and working it into the metal, it is smooth as silk.

I cut a coil from the mainspring (hammer spring), swapped to a Clarks 4-petal sear spring, went to a Dlask titanium/magnesium trigger, polished all surfaces, then worked in the Tetra white grease... Cannot say that the Bill Wilson hammer and sear changed the feel... but they are there all the same.

My ParaOrdnance has 1/32" take-up, zero creep, zero over-travel, breaks right at two pounds, and... is smooth as snot on glass.

Sanders yes I have bought the Geissele triggers for my ARs and on some of them I just polished the hell out of the triggers. Polishing most times will give you all the results we may be looking for, without spending a lot of bucks.
Interesting that the trigger systems C&S sells they give a subtle warning that if you start getting in the 3.5 lb. pull range to use it for competition only.
I like the Geissele on my SBR AR but the polished ones are also just fine on my others.

I've reduced the trigger pull on many of my firearms.

I've got a short reset trigger kit for my Sig P229 and will get around and install it one of these days.

I haven't got a lot to do, so I might do it today.
