Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Well, you will find out, with the trial practice.
I don't know how much the barrel swells, at the muzzle.

Try an adhesive tape wrap, helps fnnd the muzzle in dark/dim light and keeps the sight from slipping off, least it did for me..

Used to advise non-gun people wanting protection to buy a 20 gauge single shot for $80 from Walmart,, cut the bbl to 19 inches and wrap the bbl about 4 inches back with white adhesive tape.

All you need for the living room, to clean off the porch or the back yard.

Doesn't look tacticool but it works!

JMHO YMMV.

Heh, had one of those, for a while. Don't shoot heavy loads in it. Not that it won't handle them, but the trigger guard will eat your trigger finger, and when pulling the rear trigger, the front trigger will eat you.

Long story, but after 'about' a hundred rounds, I was down to using my ring finger.

(and there were a shitload of flyover white birds down in the gravel pit)

I bought some of those ones that "clip on" the vent rib. They refused to stay on, usually falling off in the gun case. I cleaned the area near the bead with alcohol and applied a small amount of Devcon 5 min epoxy. They have stayed both guns on through an entire season of skeet/trap/sporting clays for my son and so far about 10 hunting trips for me.

One of those Texas Rangers guys wrapped a white handkerchief around the front of whatever shotgun he used for nighttime arrests at Rio Grande.
