Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Pintos and HAM !!!

Sorry no pic.
Younger step son brought me what was left of his Christmas ham.
He and the twins had been carving on it, finally got tired of ham?

I soaked the beans over night, rinsed them this morning, then started
chopping chunks off that ham.
This will be a real gastronomic delight, for our epicurean pleasure.
There's more ham in that crock pot than there are beans.
Heck, I even threw in the ham bone when it was not totally skinned.
Pot is only lacking an inch of being to the top, and it's not a small pot.

He had brought the ham all wrapped and on a plate and placed it in the frig
last night. I didn't even look at it until this morning. Made a big mistake of
not slicing off some to fry for my own breakfast.

Figure it will be ready late this evening. Will definitely be ready for the New Year.

That will be two crock pots in December.

You need a big pan of hot buttered cornbread to go with that.

I'll trade you a green can of ham & Lima beans for that.

I'll get the resident young lady to comply with that recommendation.

Thumbs up

Pintos and ham with cornbread are a great way to bring in the new year.

All I would add to that menu would be collard greens or turnips or both mixed.

Pintos and ham sounds delish, Ten Bears! I started chopping veggies and soaking black-eyed peas (we're Southern around here!) a few hours ago -Just went upstairs to slice the ham off the bone--and remembered I froze the hambone! Microwave, here I come!
