Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Merc that is some good music. My neighbor Steve grew up with Greg Allman and is still friends with him. He played drums for him off and on for a few years.
Came over some time back with a member of the Allman band and I have no idea who he was. I just talked fishing with the guy, not being into music much.
Steve has since moved, but if I can track him down he has tons of personal picts. I will try to get for yah.

Thank you Sir

I don't think Leon will be around much longer

He is in poor health.

He is one of them that either you like him or you don't......

Mark O'Connor violin, Tony Rice guitar, Jerry Douglas dobro, Sam Bush mandolin,
Mark Schatz bass and Bela Fleck banjo. Merlefest early 1990's

FREEBORN MAN

This is some line up.
Buckle up before you hit the go button.
These guys aren't afraid of tempo
Strap in..

Tony Rice is it when it comes to bluegrass guitar.
Mark O'Connor has only won the world fiddle championship about 20 times.
The young, chubby cheek , nerdy kid on dobro is none
other than Jerry Douglas
Bela Fleck... Nuf said
Sam Bush... Yep
Mark Schatz can bang it out

The camera work leaves something to be desired if your a musician.
You want to see hands.

Enjoy,
MERC

My pleasure , Sir.

That is a fierce line up.
I saw Mark O'Connor with the David Grismond Quintet
back in 1980.
O'Connor didn't play violin
O'Connor was playing guitar and tearing it up
