Thank you to much Marine for posting that.
I had to stop the video to get a towel to mop my tears of joy at those filthy nips getting eaten alive by the crocks. If I was with the allied troops I would have been laughing so hard the nips would have heard me.

Those salt crocs should have been awarded some Silver Stars or maybe Navy Crosses for helping our boys out like that.

When i was a kid a friend of my dad was on New Guinea in WW2 as a GI....He got moved to a Island where he would tell me stories of japanese cannibal soldiers who would cut a steak out of a dead mans ass and eat it because they were starving...He was in the battle of the drinamour river where 100.000 japs attacked intrenched GI's and were slaughtered..He also told me about crocodiles and komodo dragon sized lizards that ate GI's.
That man should have written a book.

I read a story a while back about something like this happening in southern Vietnam, as well. It was gooks trying to get away from Americans and the tide came in, bringing the saltwater crocs with it.
Could have been a fictional account, though.

Many-banded krait https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Many-banded_krait Two steps? Nah yah had around 6 hrs. to get help. We were so high in the mountains even the snakes did not like the cold weather. Our worry was the damn tigers. While very very poisonous their non aggressive and one just had to avoid them. Myself and a bud were eating some C rats and one crawled near us only one I ever saw. We tried to feed the thing he looked hungry. Some troop sees it and smashes the poor thing with his rifle butt. Geez dude WTF like calm down were in his backyard. |
