Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default My Elk Hunt

Well, I got some pics from my nephew, who was the photographer for the hunt. I wish there were more, but I'm happy to have some...

My new tent

One of the only times we were back in camp during the day. I'm making a steak sandwich, and my brother in law is catching a couple z's.

Hell Roaring Mesa - I was hunting up on top of there the first day. Lots of tracks, but no elk.

Bull "dusting" spot -- A bull pissed here, then rolled around in it. Probably more than once. This is on the side of a steep hill. The spot was still moist.

Me on the left, and my nephew

Just climbed this:

The pinon tree on the left kept me from sliding back to the bottom. It was an "oh shit" moment, as in that was the only thing I said.

The view from the top

Me, after I recovered my breath -- 8,500 ft. above sea level.

One guy in the camp got his cow elk on the opening day. He wasn't interested in keeping anything but the meatiest parts. We didn't know he was going to leave so much neck meat. He did drive his elk home (200 mi. one way) then come back to finish the hunt with the rest of us. Myself and his uncle both missed our elk.

We'll be back next year!
