1978 Sierra truck, one owner, original paint, no accidents, interior needs minor work, power windows and locks, engine and transmission run like a Swiss watch, 454 engine, very minor rust even came with the bill of sales from a dealer in North Carolina, my son just picked it up at a state sale across from a job site, he saw it, drove it and told the guy "I like it", the guy said "give me a number" $2500. The guy shook his hand. He can resell that sucker as-is for almost $10,000 down here.

My 4x4 K20 Silverado must be worth a lot more.

Funny , I get quite a few people asking about and complementing my old chevy when in parking lots and gas station the last few years

I just waxed the original paint a couple weeks ago

They turn them into hot-rods when they have that big 454 engine, he knows the guy who's into doing that so he's trying to make a deal.

Tim, he drives a 2017 Ford 350 with all the bells and whistles, his company is doing well, thank God, plus he needs a big truck to pull that 30 footer on a trailer when he needs to take it out of the marina.

Dang, Aviator! Those trucks are a dime a dozen around here, with no rust to boot. One of my guys just sold a K5 Blazer with 36" tires for $2,500.

Maybe I need to make some investments......

Cars that you can pick up in Florida on the cheap is 2-3 year old Cadillacs and Lincolns.

You can bring them north and sell them in the ghettos for 3-4 times what you paid for them.

True Pogo. Their are guys that bring semis down to pick up used Harley's in Florida and bring them north. Easy double or triple their money. Were year round riding and loaded with bikes down here.
Spring time in the north when the snow melts and that first bike starts guys get the bike buzz.

A few weeks ago I saw a 73 Chev with 77000 miles on it. 2wd, 350, all original. $8000. I would not buy it, but someone will.

He had an offer today for $7500 and turned it down from a guy he knows who also wanted to flip it.
