Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Patriots & One second after... Needful reads.

Both are well done and will make you think.

I finished reading it on Tuesday. Good reading material. I also bought 'Lights Out', which I already read the internet copy. I am re-reading it.

I read TEOTWAWKI (the pre published web released pdf that evolved into patriots)

It was a good read at the time.

If you can find a copy of " breakdown" by that fellow that wrote the "out of the ashes" series it also is a good read.

Since then I have a few things I disagree with but it is still a good read. DD bought me a copy of patriots for a present a while back. (She knows my passion for having a hard copy.)

I still enjoy Unintended Consequences as one of my favorite books, I have a pdf verson but the hard copy sits on my book shelf of excellent reference books.

For anyone wanting insight into the "gun culture" it is a great starting point. Esp the first 2/3 as it the first 2/3 of patriots.

The final fiction parts are good, just not as informative.

The guy who wrote "Out of The Ashes" is dead. He was a writer for Guns and Ammo or American Handgunner or one of them. I read that last month I think!
Whatever-he was a gun guy!

"Patriots" was good. But don't waste money on the sequel "Founders".

It read like the author was just trying to crank it out to try to get some more money before the coming collapse.

I've read Patriots at least ten times. It is one of my all time favorites.
