Baboon, living near the coast I would think most seafood would cheap. I can see Alaskan King Crab being high most places. I miss the cheap seafood places of the Chesapeake Bay area when I wore green.

Hey Rails. Proximity to the beach has nothing to do with the price of seafood. My family ran restaurants all my life. The last 40 years we had a place about 3/4 of a mile from the boardwalk. I can't remember a time when a PorterHouse wasn't less expensive than anything that swam. Cod, snapper, halibut, prawns, flounder....it didn't matter.

We don't sell anything out of the gulf, with the exception of shrimp. All the great gulf coast seafoor like flounder, speckled trout, redfish, dorado, and snapper are all caught & shipped in from turd world shitholes.
