I've never worn out a right-click button before, only the left.

Laser or roller? The roller ones pick up lint and grime and can be pulled apart and cleaned. The laser one are expendable.

Logitech. The cheap one, around $10. They keep mousing, and mousing,...

Sometimes all you have to do is clean them and they come back to life.

I like a wireless mouse.
My favorite is the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000. It's ambidextrous, and being I'm left handed that's a plus. It has extra keys that you can program for special functions.

I got a "Tecknet" off eBay. Been working for years and was only $15 or so. No point getting an expensive mouse. They fail for the same reasons cheap ones do they just give you more buttons and higher laser resolution.

I programmed my extra buttons. I use the extra right button to open Firefox and the extra left button to go back from wherever you are at. And the center wheel can be used to enlarge a page or picture.
A Kensington Track Ball is nice if you are working with Photoshop. |
