Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I have underfolders... Using one of the dust cover mts with the set screws no longer is the only option...and NOT a good one. They are OK for shooting piss filled beer cans at twenty five feet.. But... Not much else. Go to the top of the thread and scroll down. NOW there is a GOOD option for those of us with underfolding stocks...and a need to put some CQB glass on them.

I have a Kobra that I bought from Kalinka on a SAR3 using that side mount. It's a fairly decent red dot and adequate for the rifle that they are designed for. I bought mine back when they were real cheap.

That .223 round makes a decent plinker in that rifle.

I have one on my Saiga 308. These mounts are the real deal and return to zero when taken on and off. The only other mount that is worth a shit is the one from KVar and it's about $110. The Texas Weapon Systems one look to have promise though....

I have a friend who is using one of those horrible dust cover scope mounts on her AK...I showed this to her and she's going to order one.

Yes, you can get the cover on and off with THAT mt. The scope seems to return to zero pretty well when you remove and replace the mount though.
