Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

The imports do not seal very well if at all. The used USGI or Blackhawks are great.

Member on another forum showed a pict. of why their not around much anymore hangfire. Guess the govt. used to store them in a warehouses for possible reuse. Then auction them off?
Now pict. showed they must have given up on that and just backhoe them into piles on big military base lots. Whoops crushed and rusted till they go too the junkyard I guess?

The steel import ones look like they seal up good. The plastic ones look like they would not seal if you put much inside them.

Dumbest thing i ever did was loadvabunch of ammo into 40mm cans! They are just to heavy to carry fully loaded.

You're supposed to carry them in your assault wheelbarrow.

The Point Blank indoor shooting range across from me in Ohio has a ton of old GI cans with surface rust sitting on a skid for over a year now. Nobody wants a rusty can. Now they are throwing in a cheap cleaning kit if you buy the can @ $12.99. I'm good. I have 12+ in my gunroom.

The empty cans are heavy by themselves.

When filled I put them back on the steel skid, put the metal top retainer back on, banded them down and used the forklift to move them around.
