Sometimes they are fun to toy with for a while.

Look for a place to hide and grab a pair of scissors is now the prescribed method of self defense. Sell all of your evil guns at the next gun buy back program.

I'll stick with the one I prefer and like to carry.
A little Charter Arms .44 Special. Lightweight and shoots straight. One of the alternative choices? Maybe that Walker .44, it would make a great belly gun. Couldn't lift it much higher than some one's belly. |

Oh BTW ,,,back to the 38-vs the 9mm's,,
I have a 4" 38/357 I use a hollow base SWC reversed in the case with a #2 shot sized steel bearing pressed into the cavity, at 20-30 feet,,there UNREAL !!! I tested them out on a clay bank at different ranges and they'll blow a 12"+ deep hole 10-12" across @ 25',,,wicked good for close up projectile fodder for you re-loaders to try out in your 2-3-4-" barrel guns. Oh Ya,, you'll need to flare the cases slightly more too so they don't skin the lead when you're seating them. Those are fantastic for a bed side snubby or something like that. I just use the normal target load specs for that 158 gr projectile and it's very light recoil and devastating at close range. They seem to tumble a bit past 40-50 feet though, so remember that point. But they seem to stay well stabilized under that range after testing them on paper.. |
