old Remington
my wifes grandfather is in the nursing home because of his dementia.
My wifes mom inherited a couple rifles she said so she brought them up today for me to clean and "maintain for her. One was a Remington 760 gamemaster pump rifle chambered in .270 and the other was an Ithaca 16 gauge pump shotgun,,none of the other relatives (who aren't hunters) wanted nothing to do with these old "turds" Well within 2 hours of her dropping them of here I grabbed some ammo and took the >270 on a drive with me. A doe jumped up about 60 yards out and started booking it and I nailed it right in the pumper when it was about a 100yrds out my wifes mom was still at the house when I came home with the good news,,I think I may have a new favorite rifle. I also killed a doe earlier this week with a new to me Remington bolt action 30.06,,no bucks yet but still have 2 days
