Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Internet rumor strikes again, it was used by the the Fort Hood shooter.
You may want to check your facts on it's performance.

Just another answer looking for a problem.

It reminds me of a slightly narrower, and exponentially more expensive 7.62x25mm.
I was thinking the same thing. My buddy (the one who passed away) thought my CZ-52 was a pea shooter when I showed it to him at his farm after he looked at the bore. He pulled out his Kimber in .45acp and said get a mans gun.

I said OK, let's try them both out on one of those old LP tanks that were out of date. We put one out at about 50 yards. I told him to go first. He fired a few rounds and all of the .45acp bullets bounced off of the tank.

I fired one round out of the CZ-52 and the tank started spewing out a bunch of propane that was still in the tank. Then I fired a couple more rounds and put two more holes in the tank. Then we looked at the back side and there were exit holes.

He was impressed and wanted one. But I couldn't find him a CZ-52 before he passed away.

That being said, it is a round that would pass through a person instead of expending all of it's energy in a human target. I would rather depend on a .44 Magnum, .44 Special, .45 acp, or .45 Long Colt than the smaller 7.65 round unless my opponent was wearing armor.

Only thing I know about the FT Hood shooter was that he used a 33 round 9mm Glock and a 5.7mm FN Herstal. I don't know which caliber caused the wounded victims and which caliber caused the deaths.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, used an FN Five-Seven, a semi-automatic pistol popular with SWAT teams, that can fire armour-piercing bullets.

A total of 13 people died in the bloodbath at the Texas military base and 38 were wounded.

Hasan had bought the weapon legally at a gun store close to Fort Hood in August and practiced at a nearby shooting range.

During the attack he also carried a Smith & Wesson .357-calibre revolver but it was not clear if he used it.

It was the AZ shooter that had the Glock with the 33 rounder

Ah, OK. I was reading a news article and must have misread it or the article was wrong.

Agree with most, they got penetration, but where is the stopping power.
