Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Just ordered a set of grips

for my Rock Island 1911. Ordered SLIM Heritage Brown Dymondwood from
http://www.raascogrips.com/fd07s.html with half checkering.
I have small hands ,so,I think the thin grips will better for me. With the standard grips reaching the mag release is little awkward for me when shooting single hand.

Nice people to talk to and order from, small shop and they make the grips when ordered.

Thumbs up

My new grips arrived, Installed them last night. Perfect fit, I recommend RAASCO Grips to anyone wanting to change the 1911 grips

Everyone is different. My biggest complaint about the 1911 is that the grip is too small. In that respect, the Beretta M9 is much more comfortable in my hands.

Well the slimline grips brings the width of the 1911 grip to about the same width as the
grip on my Bersa Thunder 380 and is only slightly thicker then the grip on my 380CC.
so now all three are constant as to feel and the reach to the magazine release.

Ove course both Bersa would disappear in your hands

Those are really nice looking grips pfalz2

I have big hands an prefer larger grips but we have to fit our tools for the individual that's using them.
