Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

That's a pisser.

I do drilling for foundation design. One of the places it seems contractors always want to skimp and save money on is the foundation engineering. It isn't sexy. You can't see anything when we are done. So, they figure if they can save money there, they can spend it elsewhere.

I say that, because I am wondering if they skimped on the foundation design and testing?

Next time have a genuine engineer review the prints BEFORE construction begins.

Someone deserves to have their tit in a real wringer.

I am no structural engineer but to perform a stress test with people underneath it? Priceless. Frigging mo-rons.

Up to six deaths reported so far, cars are still under so there may be more. I see a cloud in the sky...oh...wait...they are lawyers hovering over the area. MCM, one of the largest constructions companies here, the engineers and architects, FIU, the county inspector's office....everybody will get sued. This is going to be bad.

Yes, they reported a Stress Test was conducted prior to the collapse, well shit, you are supposed to run your tests before putting the damned thing over a road you dumb assholes. Someone screwed up and that's an understatement.

Or close the dang road! A stress test is designed to see if it will break or not! They usually don't break. This time it did.

Yup like yourself and I posted Fred. "Testing the structure with people underneath? Equivalent of testing a new airplane with a full load of passengers. Frigging idiots.
