Welcome to a fellow WV resident.
Rules. Ya might get a dog. If it's worth a beer you have been blessed with a DAWG. This is serious business btw. |

Greetins from Up North!
Howdy, Brother! I read your posts and just had to join--I am a confirmed DOG LOVER! Beagles.
Well, that and guns as well. By the way, our local high-power rifle club had a Saturday shoot. We go 300, 600, out to 1,000 yards. Iron sights only. At 0800, three rather beat up trucks pulled in and a guy jumped out and asked: "Y'all got room for some 'Mountaineer Shooters?" Three truckloads of guys from WV. Took 'em at least 5 hours to drive up to our range in Malvern, Ohio. Well, since they never shot our course, we figured we'd have some fun with these "outsiders." Long story short--end of the day--those boys SHOT THE PANTS OFF ALL OF US! They either had .30M1 Garands or M1As in 7.62mm. They walked away with the top scores and prizes and a lot of smiles back at us! We learned our lessons well that day from humble teachers! Daggone--I never saw such great shootin'! Y'all are darn good riflemen! |
