I use unique for light/medium loads and 2400 for heavy loads

I use Unique and H110.
Not much range with H110 for experimenting, though. Either you are running it full power, or slightly reduced. There is only like 3 gr. difference between the two, according to the manufacturer. I need to get some 2400.

I ended up going with a mid-range load using unique and 240g hardcast LSWC. Seems a good starting point.

I like Unique because I can load everything from 9mm to .44 mag with it.

I've used 2400 for .357 Mag loads for over 30 years... great powder.

I've used XX grains of Unique for target loads since the late 60's. H110 in the 44mag.
The Unique mostly in 45ACP loads where it's a warm load.185 to 200 hardcast. I like sabots also. |
